Trévou-Tréguignec ( Breton At trevou ) is a French municipality with 1387 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany .
geography
Trévou-Tréguignec is located on the coast of the English Channel and is part of the Côte de Granit Rose . The municipality borders on Penvénan to the east, Camlez to the south and Trélévern to the west. The closest major cities are Perros-Guirec and Lannion . Trévou-Tréguignec has one kilometer wide sandy beach on the Baie de Trestel (Bay of Trestel) an important attraction for tourists. The town of Trévou is west of this bay and the town of Tréguignec to the east of it.
history
In 1671 the places Trévou and Tréguignec merged. They have been an independent community since 1790.
