Le Vieux-Marché ( Breton : Ar C'houerc'had ) is a French commune with 1,314 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Côtes-d'Armor department in the Brittany region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Lannion , the canton of Plestin-les-Grèves and is a member of the Lannion-Trégor Communauté community association founded in 2015 . The residents call themselves Vieux Marchois (es) .

Le Vieux-Marché is around 14 km (as the crow flies) south of the small town of Lannion in northern Brittany.

history

The municipality was created in 1866 from parts of the previous municipality of Plouaret .
