Trébeurden ( Trebeurden in Breton ) is a French commune with 3,637 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Côtes-d'Armor department in the Brittany region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lannion and the canton of Perros-Guirec .
geography
The place is about ten kilometers northwest of Lannion on the Atlantic coast , at the western end of the Côte de Granit Rose . It is surrounded by the sea to the north and west, and is bounded by the bay of Lannion (French: Baie de Lannion ) of the city of the same name and the neighboring municipality of Pleumeur-Bodou . The offshore tidal island Île Milliau and Île Molène also belong to the municipal area.
Transport links
Trébeurden is located on the D65 département road , which connects the town with Lannion, and on the D788, which runs along the entire rose granite coast via Trégastel and Ploumanac'h to Perros-Guirec . The Aeroport de Lannion-Servel airport is only seven kilometers away. The nearest train station is Lannion.
