Villanuova sul Clisi is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5845 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in Val Sabbia in the province of Brescia in Lombardy . The community is located about 19 kilometers northeast of Brescia am Chiese . For Lake Garda is 4.5 kilometers due east.

The municipality is located on Strada Statale 45 to Gardesana Occidentale , which then runs along the west bank of Lake Garda. The Villanuova sul Clisi train station was closed when the railway line from Rezzato to Vobarno was closed in 1968.
