Manerbio is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 13,318 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Brescia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 20 kilometers southwest of Brescia , about 25 kilometers northeast of Cremona and about 75 kilometers east-southeast of Milan . Since 1997 the place has been called città (city). The Mella flows through the area of the municipality .
Until around 1700 Manerbio belonged to the rulership of Venice .

Manerbio is on the A21 autostrada and has its own connection. The municipality also has a train station that is served by trains on the Brescia – Cremona line. The Strada statale 45 to Gardesana Occidentale from Cremona to Trento also runs through the municipality .

Sports
The ATP Challenger Tour stops in Manerbio (Antonio Savoldi – Marco Cò - Trofeo Dimmidisì). In 2010 a CSIO-YR tournament (show jumping) took place in Manerbio. Every year the NRHA European Derby takes place in Manerbio, one of the largest European reining tournaments for 4-7 year old horses.
