Remedello is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3399 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Brescia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 29 kilometers south-southeast of Brescia . Remedello borders directly on the province of Mantua . The Chiese partly forms the provincial border.

There is a train station on the Parma – Brescia railway line in Remedello Sopra, and a smaller train station in Remedello Sotto.

Remedello culture

Remedello is the eponymous site of the Remedello culture . The archaeological culture is named after the burial ground discovered in 1885 near Remedello with 124 graves from the Copper Age, some richly furnished . Parts of the finds are exhibited in the Archaeological Museum of Remedello.
