San Paolo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4495 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Brescia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 24.5 kilometers southwest of Brescia .

history

In 1927 Oriano , Cremezzano and Scarpizzolo were added to the then municipality of Pedergnaga . In 1928 the community was named Pedergnaga Oriano , until it was in 1968 by decree in honor of Pope Paul VI. was renamed.

The former Strada Statale 668 Lenese (today the Provincial Road Brescia (SPBS) 668) from Lonato to Orzinuovi runs through the municipality in an east-west direction .
