Mazzano is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 12,481 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Brescia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 10 kilometers west-southwest of Brescia . The lake is located 11.5 km east of Mazzano.

The former station on the railway line from Rezzato to Vobarno has been closed since 1968. Strada Statale 11 and the Autostrada A4 from Turin to Venice and Trieste run south of the municipality .
