Corte Franca is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 7155 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Brescia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 21 kilometers northwest of Brescia , about 25 kilometers east-southeast of Bergamo and about 3.5 kilometers south of Lake Iseo in Franciacorta . The administrative headquarters are in the Timoline district .
history
The community was formed in 1929 from the individual communities Borgonato , Colombaro , Nigoline Bonomelli and Timoline . Corte Franca has been twinned with the Scottish town of Aberdour since July 2004 .

The community has two train stations. The stop in the Borgonato district also serves as a siding for the municipality of Adro , while the Timoline train station is in the neighboring municipality of Provaglio d'Iseo on the Cremona – Iseo railway line .
