Tavernole sul Mella is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1250 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Brescia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 23.5 kilometers north of Brescia in Val Trompia on the Mella . In 1927 the municipality was created by merging the current districts of Cimmo , Marmentino and Pezzoro . Marmentino became an independent municipality in 1955.
