Dello is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5581 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Brescia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 17.5 kilometers southwest of Brescia . The Mella flows through Dello .

history

The village was known as Hello until the 11th century and as Ellum until the 15th century .

Arts and Culture

On April 21, 2002, the community dedicated a museum to the opera singer Rosina Storchio , the Museo Lirico "Rosina Storchio". In February 2016 the museum was moved to the community of Gazoldo degli Ippoliti in the province of Mantua. A street in Dello is also named after the opera singer.
