The Brescia – Cremona railway is a standard-gauge railway in Italy .

history

The line was built as part of the Voghera - Pavia - Cremona - Brescia route and opened in 1866. Initially operated by the Società italiana per le strade ferrate meridionali (SFM), it was handed over to the SFAI in 1868 .

From July 1, 1885, it went on in the Rete Adriatica (RA) and was therefore again operated by the SFM. With the nationalization of the railway network in 1905, it was operated by the Ferrovie dello Stato (FS).

In the 1970s, electrification took place with 3 kV direct current.
