Perros-Guirec ( Breton Perroz-Gireg ) is a municipality with 7139 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) on the north coast of France . It is located in the Brittany region and in the Côtes-d'Armor department . The municipality includes the city of Perros-Guirec and the settlements of Ploumanac'h and La Clarté . Perros-Guirec is the capital of the canton of the same name .

Perros-Guirec is a popular seaside resort with several beaches, including Plage de Trestraou right on the promenade with numerous restaurants and the casino and Plage de Trestrignel , where the painter Maurice Denis had his summer residence. From the Plage de Trestraou also start excursions to nearby Sept Iles , for its richness of seabirds, including gannets are known. There is also a town hall richly decorated with flowers, a marina and a wax museum in Perros-Guirec. The parish church of St-Jacques has an important nave in the Romanesque style .
