Allée couverte de l'Île Milliau
The Allée couverte de l'Île Milliau (also known as Trois-Tables-en-Place ) is a gallery grave located on the small tidal island of Île Milliau .
The 23-hectare tidal island is about 750 m from the port of Trébeurden , about eight kilometers northwest of Lannion in the Côtes-d'Armor department in Brittany in France and can be reached on foot through the tidal flats at low tide .
The relatively well-preserved, dating back to 3000 BC. Allée couverte, which dates back to the Neolithic Age , is about 9.8 m long, 1.9 m wide and about two meters high on the inside. 12 bearing stones are in situ . Both ends are destroyed. It has three protruding capstones (hence the nickname "three tables"), which rest on partially inclined supporting stones. A fourth ceiling plate is on the floor.
