The Trieux (Breton: Trev ) is a river in France that runs in the Côtes-d'Armor department , in the Brittany region . It rises in the municipality of Kerpert , generally drains north and flows after 72 kilometers, in a confluence , at Loguivy-de-la-Mer , in the municipality of Ploubazlanec , opposite the island of Île de Bréhat , into the English Channel . The Trieux can be navigated by ships from the mouth to Pontrieux .
