Afyonkarahisarspor was a Turkish football club.
history
The association was founded in 2005. The predecessor club Afyon Sekerspor merged in 2005 with the amateur club Afyonspor , whereby Afyonkarahisarspor was founded. The seat of the association is in the Turkish city of Afyon . The games will be played in the Afyon Ataturk Stadium, which has a capacity of 10,000. The club colors are purple and white, which are only used by three clubs in the professional leagues. The best-known former player is Ümit Davala , who played for Afyonspor in 1994 and moved to İstanbulspor that same season . In the current 2012/13 season, all players decided to leave the club because they should have heard that the club should be closed. The club then withdrew from the game and decided the following season to close Afyonkarahisarspor. The successor association is Afjet Afyonspor .
