Taden ( Gallo and Breton also Taden ) is a French municipality with 2467 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . Taden belongs to the Arrondissement of Dinan and the canton of Pleslin-Trigavou (until 2015: canton of Dinan-Ouest ). The inhabitants are called Tadennais .
geography
Taden is a banlieue about three kilometers northeast of the city center of Dinan on the Rance estuary . Taden is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pleslin-Trigavou in the north, Plouër-sur-Rance and Saint-Samson-sur-Rance in the north and northeast, La Vicomté-sur-Rance in the northeast, Saint-Hélen in the east, Lanvallay in the south and southeast , Dinan in the south, Quévert in the west and south-west, Corseul in the west and Languenan in the north-west.
Route nationale 176 runs through the municipality , in the southeast the former route nationale 12 (today's D12).
