Quévert ( Breton : Kever ) is a municipality with 3749 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the west of France in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . Quévert belongs to the Arrondissement of Dinan and the Canton of Dinan . The inhabitants are called Quévertois .
geography
Quévert is a banlieue to the west of Dinan . Quévert is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Taden in the north and east, Dinan in the east and south-east, Trélivan in the south, Aucaleuc in the west and south-west and Corseul in the west and north-west. The national route 176 runs through the municipality .
history
Quévert has existed since the 12th century. It has been an independent municipality since 1790.
In April 2000 there was a bomb attack in a fast food restaurant by Breton independence fighters.
