Plélan-le-Petit ( Breton : Plelann-Vihan ; Gallo : Plélan ) is a municipality with 1,910 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Côtes-d'Armor department of the Brittany region in north-western France . Plélan-le-Petit belongs to the arrondissement of Dinan and the canton of Plancoët . The inhabitants are called Plélanais .
geography
Plélan-le-Petit is about 14 kilometers west of Dinan . Plélan-le-Petit is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Michel-de-Plélan in the north, Saint-Maudez in the north-east, La Landec in the east, Languédias in the south and south-east, Médgrit in the south and south-west and Saint-Méloir-des-Bois in the west and northwest.
Route nationale 176 runs through the municipality .
