Lionel Rouxel (born August 16, 1970 in Dinan ) is a former French football player .
Career
Rouxel was very attached to his homeland, Brittany , and played for EA Guingamp for a long time . The club played in the second division in the early 1990s , but were more in the lower regions of the table. When the two-pronged league was switched to a league at the end of the 1992/93 season , Guingamp could not qualify for the new second division. But with the relegation began the time of a successful storm duo, consisting of Rouxel and Stéphane Guivarc'h . After a year in third division, the team was able to rise again. 1995 succeeded the direct march into the first division . In the second division he showed better performances and scored twelve goals in his first season. In 2002 he went to Paris FC , where he ended his career after a year in the fourth division. After the end of his career he was initially a youth coach at Paris FC and returned to Guingamp in 2006 as a youth coach.
