Location of the Communauté de communes Plancoët-Plélan in the Côtes-d'Armor department |
The Communauté de communes Plancoët-Plélan is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Département Côtes-d'Armor , whose administrative seat was in the town of Plancoët . Its catchment area was in the northeast of the department. The community association founded on January 1, 2013 consisted of 18 communities.
Historical development
Today's community association was established on January 1, 2013 as the successor to the merging Communautés Communauté de communes de Plancoët Val d'Arguenon (eleven communities; founded on December 29, 1993) and Communauté de communes du Pays de Plélan (seven communities; also founded on 29 December 1993) December 1993).
With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged with the Communauté de communes du Pays de Caulnes and the Dinan Communauté and thus formed the successor organization Dinan Agglomération .
Tasks of the community association
Since the majority of the municipalities were very small and had mayors (maires) as a secondary office, the communauté was responsible for various tasks of the municipalities involved. There were seven departments headed by vice-presidents of the municipal association (for spatial planning and housing; elderly care; finance / education / social assistance and personnel; communication and external relations; children / youth / culture; economic development and tourism; technical service / environmental protection and long-term planning), who were active beyond the congregation.
Former member parishes
The Communauté de communes Plancoët-Plélan belonged to all nine communes of the canton Plancoët , the commune of Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer of the canton Ploubalay and with the exception of the commune of Vildé-Guingalan all communes of the canton Plélan-le-Petit . The member communities were:
