The Communauté de communes du Pays de Caulnes is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Département Côtes-d'Armor , the administrative seat of which was in the town of Caulnes . Its catchment area was in the east of the department. The community association founded on December 24, 1992 consisted of eight communities, the president of the community association was Mickaël Chevalier.
Tasks of the community association
Since the majority of the municipalities were very small and had mayors (maires) as a secondary office, the communauté was responsible for various tasks of the municipalities involved. There are several commissions (e.g. for environmental protection, sport, economic development, etc.) that were active across the congregation.
Historical development
With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged with the Dinan Communauté and the Communauté de communes Plancoët-Plélan and thus formed the successor organization Dinan Agglomération .
