The Poher Communauté is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the departments of Finistère and Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . The community association was founded on December 31, 1993 and consists of eleven communities. The administrative headquarters are in Carhaix-Plouguer . The specialty is the cross-departmental membership of their communities.

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Poullaouen and Locmaria-Berrien became part of the Commune nouvelle Poullaouen . Since Locmaria-Berrien was a member of the Monts d'Arrée Communauté , the total area increased.
