The Communauté de communes du Pays de Du Guesclin is a former French association of communes with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Département Côtes-d'Armor , the administrative seat of which was in Broons . Its catchment area was in the southeast of the department. The community association founded on December 20, 1993 consisted of nine communities.
Tasks of the community association
Since the majority of the municipalities were very small and had mayors (maires) as a secondary office, the communauté was responsible for various tasks of the municipalities involved. There were six commissions (economic development; finances and personnel; road construction; communication / tourism / preservation of cultural assets; environmental protection; children / youth / culture), which were active across the community.
Historical development
With effect from January 1, 2017, the municipal association was dissolved and its member municipalities were divided into the municipal associations Dinan Agglomération and Communauté de communes Lamballe Terre et Mer .
