Léhon is a town and a former French commune with 3,105 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Dinan and the Canton of Dinan . The inhabitants are called Léhonnais .
With effect from January 1, 2018, the former municipalities of Dinan and Léhon were merged into the Commune nouvelle Dinan of the same name . In the new municipality only Léhon has the status of a Commune déléguée . The administrative headquarters are in Dinan.
geography
Léhon is located on the Rance River . Léhon is surrounded by the villages of Dinan in the north, Lanvallay in the east and northeast, Saint-Carné in the south, Trélivan in the southwest and Quévert in the west.
history
The place is first mentioned in 833 in a deed of donation from the Nominoë to the monastery of Léhon.

Partner municipality
A town partnership with the Baden-Württemberg community Abstatt was signed in Abstatt in May 1981. Since then, there have been regular student exchanges from the Abstatt primary school to Lehon, as well as visits by French students to the German partner community.
