The Communauté de communes Rance Frémur is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany , whose administrative headquarters are in the village Plouër-sur-Rance was. Its catchment area was in the northeast of the department. The community association founded on December 28, 1994 consisted of four communities.
Tasks of the community association
Since the majority of the municipalities were very small and had mayors (maires) as a secondary office, the communauté was responsible for various tasks of the municipalities involved. Departments (for administration and finance; spatial planning / economic development and tourism; social services / housing and public services; culture and communication; leisure and sport; environmental protection) led by vice-presidents of the municipal association existed and were active across the municipalities.
Historical development
With effect from January 1, 2017, the association of municipalities was dissolved and its member municipalities were divided between the Dinan Agglomération and the Communauté de communes Côte d'Émeraude .
