Viviane Le Dissez

Viviane Le Dissez (born March 22, 1959 in Tréguier ) is a French politician . She has been a member of the National Assembly since 2012 .

Le Dissez joined the Parti socialiste in 1999 . In the 2007 parliamentary elections , she ran as deputy to Jean Gaubert , who was re-elected as a member of the second constituency of the Côtes-d'Armor department . In 2008 she won her first political office when she was elected mayor of Plancoët . Because Gaubert did not run for election again as a member of parliament in 2012, she became the socialist candidate in the constituency in the parliamentary elections that year and entered the National Assembly after her election success. In November of the same year she was also elected President of the Board of Directors of the coastal protection organization Conservatoire du littoral .
