Allée couverte from Roche-Plate

The Allée couverte of Roche-Plate (also called Allée couverte du moulin de la roche plate or Allée couverte de la Saudrais ) is located next to the football stadium in the southwest of the town of Saint-Lunaire , near Dinard in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany in France . The Allée couverte was discovered in 1975 while working on the ground near the Saint Lunaire mill.

The gallery grave is about ten meters long and two meters wide. The northern side is much better preserved than the tilted southern half. It consists of different types of rock; gray sandstone , pink and gray granite, and some white quartz blocks . Eight cover plates rest on nineteen orthostats . The north-east-south-west oriented system is still partly in its tumulus .
