Saint-Benoît-des-Ondes ( Breton : Lanwezoù ) is a French municipality with 994 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . Saint-Benoît-des-Ondes belongs to the Arrondissement of Saint-Malo and the canton of Dol-de-Bretagne (until 2015: canton of Cancale ). The inhabitants are called Bénedictins .

Saint-Benoît-des-Ondes is located about 12 kilometers east-southeast of Saint-Malo and about 58 kilometers north-northwest of Rennes on the Atlantic coast and on the Gulf of Saint-Malo . The Biez Jean flows through the municipality . Saint-Benoît-des-Ondes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes in the north and north-west, Hirel in the east and south-east, La Fresnais in the south and south-east and La Gouesnière in the west and south-west.
