The canton of Bécherel was a French canton in the Arrondissement Rennes , in the Département Ille-et-Vilaine and in the region of Brittany until 2015 ; its main town was Bécherel .

history

The canton was created on February 15, 1790. From 1801 to 2015, ten municipalities belonged to the canton of Bécherel. With the reorganization of the cantons in France, the canton was dissolved in 2015 and the communes moved to other cantons.

The canton was in the west of the Ille-et-Vilaine department.
