Saint-Marc-sur-Couesnon ( Breton : Sant-Marzh-ar-C'houenon ) is a village and a commune déléguée in the French commune of Rives-du-Couesnon with 571 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ille department -et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . The inhabitants are called Médardais .

On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Saint-Marc-sur-Couesnon merged with Saint-Jean-sur-Couesnon , Saint-Georges-de-Chesné and Vendel to form the Commune nouvelle Rives-du-Couesnon. It belonged to the arrondissement Fougères-Vitré and was part of the canton Fougères-1 (until 2015: canton Saint-Aubin-du-Cormier ).

Saint-Marc-sur-Couesnon is located about 32 kilometers northeast of Rennes on the Couesnon , which forms the southern border of the Commune déléguée. The municipality of Saint-Marc-sur-Couesnon was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Hilaire-des-Landes in the north, Saint-Sauveur-des-Landes in the northeast, La Chapelle-Saint-Aubert in the east, and Saint-Jean-sur-Couesnon in the south, Mézières-sur-Couesnon in the west and south-west and Saint-Ouen-des-Alleux in the west and north-west.

The Autoroute A84 and the former Routes nationales 12 (today's D812) lead through the Commune déléguée .
