Val-d'Izé ( Breton : Nant-Izeg ; Gallo : Izæ ) is a French municipality with 2,590 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Fougères-Vitré and the canton Vitré (until 2015: canton Vitré-Ouest ). The inhabitants are called Izéens .

Val-d'Izé is located 29 kilometers east-northeast of Rennes . Val-d'Izé is surrounded by the neighboring communities Livré-sur-Changeon in the north and northwest, Mecé in the north, Saint-Christophe-des-Bois in the northeast, Taillis in the east, Landavran in the southeast, Champeaux in the south, and Marpiré in the south Southwest, La Bouëxière to the west and southwest and Dourdain to the west.
