Dourdain ( Breton : Dourdan ; Gallo : Dórdaen ) is a French municipality with 1159 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Rennes and the canton of Liffré . The inhabitants are called Dourdanais .

geography

Dourdain is about 25 kilometers east-northeast of Rennes . Dourdain is surrounded by the neighboring communities Livré-sur-Changeon in the north and northeast, Val-d'Izé in the east and southeast, La Bouëxière in the south and west and Liffré in the west and northwest.
