The Vaunoise at Pleumeleuc

Pleumeleuc ( Breton : Pleveleg ) is a French municipality with 3329 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Rennes and the canton of Montfort-sur-Meu . The inhabitants are called Pleumeleucois (es) .

geography

Pleumeleuc is about 15 kilometers northwest of Rennes . The river Vaunoise runs through the municipality . Pleumeleuc is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Romillé in the north, Parthenay-de-Bretagne and Clayes in the east, Saint-Gilles in the southeast, Breteil in the south and Bédée in the west.

The National Route 12 runs through the municipality .
