Langouet (also Langouet , Breton : Langoed ) is a French municipality with 601 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Rennes and the canton of Melesse (until 2015: canton of Hédé-Bazouges ). The inhabitants are called Langouëtiens .

geography

Langouet is located about 18 kilometers north-northwest of Rennes on the Flume River . Langouet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Gondran in the north, Saint-Symphorien or Hédé-Bazouges in the northeast, Vignoc in the east, Gévezé in the south, Langan in the west and southwest and La Chapelle-Chaussée in the west and northwest.
