Saint-Erblon ( Breton : Sant-Ervlon-to-Dezerzh ) is a French municipality with 3078 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Rennes and the Canton of Janzé . The inhabitants are called Saint-Erblonnais .

geography

The municipality is located about twelve kilometers south of the city center of Rennes on the Ise River . Saint-Erblon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Noyal-Châtillon-sur-Seiche in the north, Vern-sur-Seiche in the northeast, Saint-Armel in the east, Bourgbarré in the south and southwest, Orgères in the south and southwest and Pont-Péan in the west.
