Pacé (Breton: Pazieg ) is a French municipality with 11,739 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Rennes and the canton of Rennes-6 .
geography
Pacé is located on the Flume River , a tributary of the Vilaine . Neighboring municipalities of Pacé are Gévezé in the north, La Mézière in the northeast, La Chapelle-des-Fougeretz and Montgermont in the east, Rennes in the southeast, Le Rheu and Vezin-le-Coquet in the south, L'Hermitage in the southwest, and Saint-Gilles in the west as well as Clayes and Parthenay-de-Bretagne in the north-west.
Here the Route nationale 12 crosses with the departmental roads 29 and 288.

- Saint-Melaine church from the 15th or 16th century, built on the remains of a 12th century church, a historic monument since 1968
