Saint-Péran ( Breton Sant-Peran , Gallo : Saent-Peran ) is a French municipality with 410 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Rennes and to the Montfort-sur-Meu ( Canton Plélan-le-Grand ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Péranais .

geography

Saint-Péran is located about 39 kilometers west of Rennes in the Paimpont forest . The river Serein runs along the southern border of the municipality . Saint-Péran is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Iffendic in the north, Monterfil in the east, Treffendel in the south-east, Plélan-le-Grand in the south and south-west and Paimpont in the west and south-west.
