Bourgbarré ( Breton : Bourvarred ; Gallo : Borg-Bara ) is a French municipality with 4132 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Rennes and the Canton of Janzé . The inhabitants are called Bourgbarréen .
geography
The municipality is located about 15 kilometers south of Rennes city center , on the Ise River . It is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Erblon in the north and north-west, Saint-Armel in the north and north-east, Corps-Nuds in the east and south-east, Chanteloup in the south and south-west and Orgères in the west.
