Treffendel , in Breton "Trevendel", is a municipality in Brittany in France . It belongs to the canton of Montfort-sur-Meu (until 2015 canton Plélan-le-Grand ) in the Arrondissement of Rennes . The residents call themselves Treffendelois or Treffendeloise.
Geography, infrastructure
The Route nationale 24 leads over the Treffendel, which is about 130 meters above sea level. The municipality marker is delimited in the north by the river Serein, which forms the small reservoirs Étang du Gué Charet and Étang de l'Etunel in its course . The municipality of Maxent is located on the opposite bank . The other neighboring municipalities are Saint-Péran in the north-west, Monterfil in the north, Saint-Thurial in the east and Plélan-le-Grand in the west.
