Domloup ( Gallo : Donlô ) is a French municipality with 3522 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Rennes and the canton of Châteaugiron . The inhabitants are called Domloupéen .
geography
Domloup is located about 13 kilometers southeast of Rennes on the Yaigne River . Domloup is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Noyal-sur-Vilaine in the north and northeast, Châteaugiron in the east and southeast, Nouvoitou in the south, Vern-sur-Seiche in the west and southwest and Cesson-Sévigné in the northwest.
