The Pays de Châteaugiron Communauté is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . It was founded on December 30, 1993 and comprises five municipalities (as of January 1, 2019). The administrative headquarters are located in Châteaugiron .

Historical development

The association, founded as Communauté de communes du Pays de Châteaugiron , was renamed to its current name with effect from January 1, 2018.

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Piré-sur-Seiche and Chancé were merged into the Commune nouvelle Piré-Chancé . This reduced the number of member churches to five.
