Feins ( Breton : Finioù ; Gallo : Feins ) is a French municipality with 977 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Rennes and is part of the canton of Antrain (until 2015: canton of Saint-Aubin-d'Aubigné ). The inhabitants are called Finèsiens .

geography

Feins is about 15 miles north of Rennes . In the municipality is the lake Étang de Boulet . Feins is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Dingé in the north and west, Marcillé-Raoul in the north, Sens-de-Bretagne in the east, Andouillé-Neuville in the southeast, Aubigné in the south and Montreuil-sur-Ille in the west and southwest.
