Saint-Uniac ( Breton : Sant-Tewiniav , Gallo : Saent-Tuniau ) is a French municipality with 1664 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany ; administratively it belongs to the Arrondissement Rennes and is part of the canton of Montauban-de-Bretagne . The inhabitants are called Saint-Uniacais .

Saint-Uniac is about 16 miles west-northwest of Rennes . Saint-Uniac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montauban-de-Bretagne in the north, Iffendic in the south and east and Boisgervilly in the west.
