Nouvoitou ( Breton : Neveztell ) is a French municipality with 3099 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Rennes and the canton of Janzé . The inhabitants are called Nouvoitouciens .

geography

Nouvoitou is located about 12 kilometers southeast of Rennes on the Yaigne River , which flows into the Seiche here . Nouvoitou is surrounded by the neighboring communities Domloup in the north, Châteaugiron in the east and northeast, Amanlis in the southeast, Corps-Nuds in the south, Saint-Armel in the southwest and Vern-sur-Seiche in the west and northwest.
