Ercé-près-Liffré ( Breton : Herzieg-Liverieg ) is a French municipality with 1808 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Rennes and the canton of Liffré . The inhabitants are called Ercéens .
geography
Ercé-près-Liffré is located about 18 kilometers northeast of Rennes on the Illet River . Ercé-près-Liffré is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gahard in the north and north-west, Saint-Aubin-du-Cormier in the east and north-east, Gosné in the east, Liffré in the south, Chasné-sur-Illet in the south-west and Saint-Aubin-d ' Aubigné to the west.
