The Berry Glacier is a glacier on the Hobbs Coast of Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . It flows between the Perry Range and the Demas Range northwards into the Getz Ice Shelf .
Scientists from the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) discovered and photographed the glacier during an overflight in December 1940. The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1959 and 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him after William H. Berry, air operations officer in the United States Navy, who served in this role as operations officer in Operations Deep Freeze from 1969 to 1972 and 1973.
