The Demas Range is a mountain range on the Hobbs coast of the west Antarctic Marie-Byrd-Land . With Mount Goorhigian as the highest point, it rises up to 1115 m high in a north-south orientation.
It was discovered by the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939-1941) under the direction of the US polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd . The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them after Pete Demas (1905-1979), a member of the Byrd expeditions from 1928 to 1930 and from 1933 to 1935.
