At 1115 m, Mount Goorhigian is the highest mountain in the Demas Range on the Hobbs coast of Marie Byrd Land in western Antarctica .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1959 and 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1966 after Martin Goorhigian (* 1932), meteorologist for the United States Antarctic Program at Byrd Station in 1961.
