Bogdan Alexandru Mitrea (born September 29, 1987 in Cluj-Napoca ) is a Romanian football player who is usually deployed in central defense. He has been under contract with the Cypriot first division club AEL Limassol since January 2017 .
Career
Mitrea started playing football at Universitatea Cluj when he was eight . After going through all youth teams, he joined third division CF Bihorul Beiuș in 2006 . A year later he moved to Seso Iara in the fourth division and rose with the club at the end of the season. In the summer of 2008, he committed second division CS Mechel Câmpia Turzii . After relegation in 2008/09 , he stayed with the club and played in League III for two years before CSMS Iași brought him to Liga II in the summer of 2011. He became a regular in the defense and rose with his team to League 1 at the end of the season .
Mitrea was only used irregularly in the upper house and left CSMS after relegation to league competitor FC Viitorul Constanța in 2013 . There he established himself as an undisputed regular player. In the season 2014/15 he was as full-back achieved 14 goals this season. At the beginning of 2016, Ascoli Picchio FC brought him to the Italian Serie B in 1898 . In the summer of 2016 he was loaned to Steaua Bucharest for a year . The loan ended after six months and Mitrea switched to the Cypriot first division club AEL Limassol .
